We are currently posting updates to the Castle on Mondays and Thursdays. New Chapters and/or stories become live at 5pm (1700 hrs) Mountain (Denver) time.
While the new Authors/Stories/Chapters are featured on the front page, this doesn’t tell you what exactly has been updated.
In the past, we have had several methods of letting our readers know what is going on. There is our FaceBook page, our Twitter Feed, or our Discussion Forum site. Due to lack of interest, our updates on Facebook and Twitter have been discontinued. What we have now is our newsletter that comes out twice a week, on the day things go live. We still update the forums, twice a week as we have been. Generally, the Newsletter is emailed fifteen minutes to one half hour after everything goes live.
We have instituted a new feature. Under the “Library” menu heading, you will find a sub-menu listed as “Updates”. This should be helpful to you, if you choose not to subscribe (or your ISP keeps blocking our Newsletter as spam), or visit our Community Forums.
If you haven’t already subscribed to our Newsletter, just fill out the form below. While the form asks for a User Name, it is not necessary. What is necessary is your email address! Obviously if we don’t have that, we can’t send it to you.
We do not share, sell or reveal your email address to anyone. It is used only for sending you our Newsletter.
To ensure that you always receive our Newsletter, you should “whitelist” both CastleRoland.net and castlerolandpr@gmail.com.flashissuemail.net. Since many ISP’s are getting serious about spam, many will not allow our newsletter to reach you if you do not “whitelist” us. Instead it will bounce the email as spam. Once that happens, your name is dropped from our list and we cannot manually add you back in.
If at any time you wish to stop receiving (cancel) our Newsletter, there is an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email.
